  7. information that has changed or is different from the Installation
  8. Guide, as well as some other useful tips.

  14. 100-Level and Backing-Store
  15. ---------------------------

  17. panaStation Classic is a 100-level MicroStation driver.  Support for 
  18. Backing-Store is not available in 100-Level drivers.

  21. Line Weight and Window Positioning Caveats
  22. ------------------------------------------
  23.  
  24. Moving windows over lines greater than one pixel wide may result in the
  25. line appearing broken or jagged when the window is removed.  This is part
  26. of the nature of 100-level MicroStation drivers.  To restore the lines, 
  27. it may be necessary to Update the view.

  31. PANACFG
  32. -------

  34. To avoid having to reconfigure panaStation when starting MicroStation 
  35. from directories other than the main USTATION directory, you may set
  36. the environment variable PANACFG. When present, panaStation will look
  37. to the sub-directory defined by the PANACFG variable for the PANACFG1.DAT
  38. and PANACFG2.DAT files. If the .DAT files are present the data will be used 
  39. to start MicroStation, the driver will begin its configuration
  40. process if the files are not found.

  42. Syntax for the PANACFG variable is:

  44.         SET PANACFG={path}
  45.  
  46. where {path} is the complete path name of the sub-directory which holds
  47. the PANACFGx.DAT file(s).

  51. II. What if I Have Problems?
  52. ============================

  54. If you encounter a problem with panaStation, please try to duplicate, 
  55. and document, the steps required to reproduce it. As you document the 
  56. problem, list your current system configuration, including video board, 
  57. resolution, number of colors configured, etc. Also, if possible, try to 
  58. duplicate the problem with a MicroStation sample file so that we can
  59. easily try to re-create the problem on our equipment. To contact
  60. technical support, refer the Support Chapter in your manual.

  73. The Flagship of the Panacea product line is TurboDLD. TurboDLD is an
  74. ADI 4.2 Display List Driver for AutoCAD versions 10/386, 11/386, 12 and
  75. 13. TurboDLD is available in two forms, Classic and Deluxe. TurboDLDClassic
  76. provides AutoCAD users with increased performance during ZOOMs, PANs and
  77. REDRAWs. A bird's-eye view productivity tool for ZOOMing is also included.
